Jewelry Redesign Story #26: Push Gift: Post-Baby New Ring

THE REDESIGN CHALLENGE:

Ashleigh had been wanting to re-do her engagement ring for a while. Although she was very happy with it, she was ready to upgrade it with a little more extravagance by adding more diamonds to the design. 

Now that Ashleigh had just had her first baby, she thought it was the perfect time to reward herself with a push gift. 

Ashleigh brought us her current engagement ring as well as an old diamond ring of hers. These two diamonds were great for the new ring and we helped Ashleigh to find an additional diamond that would be the centerpiece of the new design to really draw some attention to the new modern piece.

THE REDESIGN PROCESS:

Ashleigh knew that she wanted her new, 0.5 carat diamond to be the centerpiece of the ring redesign with her other two diamonds framing it. To keep the ring modern and elegant we created a design with a delicate prong setting in platinum for all three diamonds and with the entire three-set diamond element framed by smaller diamonds in a channel setting.

THE REDESIGN REVEAL:

Ashleigh liked how it used so much of her past rings while also looking unique and modern. With a push gift like this, Ashleigh was ready to be a mother!

Materials: Platinum with three round-cut diamonds in prongs with small diamonds in channel settings.
