Studio Remod

Have some heirloom pieces laying around or maybe some rings and necklaces you haven’t worn in ages? Perhaps it’s time to bring new life to them. In this case, Studio Remod to the rescue!
The company was founded by designer Seohee Koh, you may know her from her brand S/H KOH. She has now launched this new venture to repurpose your jewelry: “I’ve spent my career working as a high-end jewelry designer for brands that include Van Cleef and Arpels of Paris and Tiffany & Co for over 12 years. With all of my experience in luxury jewelry design, I knew there was a great way to bring consumers the power of custom made jewelry in the online space – making it faster, easier, and more cost-effective than ever before. ” says Seohee.

But What exactly is Studio Remod?
Studio Remod’s new online platform is changing the way that women preserve their old jewelry. The company’s platform walks customers through a simple “Bring Your Own Jewelry” or BYOJ process, which allows them to redesign their existing “old” or “unwanted” jewelry into a brand new piece. Customers can repurpose part or all of their jewelry in the process.

A client had a White and Brown Diamond which she got from her mom. She had in mind to make a ring with them so Seohee designed three options for her.

During the BYOJ process, customers get to be part of creating their own new custom jewelry from something they already own.

But you may wonder how it does work? How to get started? It’s actually quite simple: Simply fill out the ‘Get Started’ form and schedule a Skype design consultation with one of their jewelry experts. After the call, which only takes about 30 minutes, you’ll ship your jewelry with a provided prepaid shipping label.
Simply print it out and mail in your jewelry. In the final stage, you’ll get three design options to choose from. You choose and they’ll make your custom jewelry! Told you, it’s just as simple as that!
