Lauren is a huge fan of jewelry and loves special, unique pieces. She was so excited when she found Studio Remod’s coupon at the fundraiser for My Little Village preschool in New York’s Lower East Side. We donated $500 to this fundraising to help grow their scholarship fund so that the families who need financial assistance can enroll in their various preschool programs. For a long time she has been wanting to redesign her engagement ring’s setting and was so glad that she could find our opportunity for a custom jewelry redesign while also supporting financial assistance for families at this progressive and established preschool in Lower Manhattan.
Lauren loved the stones she had -- an oval blue sapphire and pear-shaped diamonds -- but found that the existing design was rather generic and dull. Lauren would rather have something that is both delicate and unique so she knew that getting a custom-made setting was the way to go.
Lauren’s main requests for the redesign were for the setting to be both delicate and unique. We gave her a couple of designs and she chose this prong setting because it was different from other things she had seen and felt very special to her.

3D CAD modeling
We designed the setting in our Rhino design software. Because of the ring's delicate setting, it was incredibly difficult to model its complex design. We were so happy to finally complete this difficult model and send it out to be cast.

Lauren loved the design even more than she thought she would. She loved how unique the setting was and knew it could only come from a custom-made design.
Lauren liked her ring so much that she came back for more redesigns...
